A WORD FROM MIKE KEATING

In Pursuit of Excellence

The Christ Hospital is a wonderful community asset, and we take pride in our mission of improving the health of the individuals, and of the neighborhoods in which we serve.

What began in a small house on York Street in the West End has since grown to embody the vision and insight of our founder, James Gamble, of an organization founded in compassion and driven by excellence.

Gamble's legacy continues today. For 21 consecutive years we have been named the Most Preferred Hospital in the region, and for the past 17 years we have been a Top 50 hospital nationally, as noted by U.S. News & World Report.

We are immensely proud of what we have accomplished, and also of the physicians, nurses, staff and volunteers who live our Mission each day... to improve the health of the community and to create patient value by providing exceptional outcomes, the finest patient experiences and affordable care.

In our lobby, there is a sign that reads "Creating a future worthy of the past." Our exceptional team does that each day in our hospital and in more than 200 physician offices, outpatient and medical centers in the region.

For more than 125 years, The Christ Hospital has been transforming the way healthcare is delivered. This report highlights these accomplishments and how we are getting our patients back to their lifestyles and pursuits.

Left QuotesIt's not about the equipment, or how pretty the buildings look. It really is about the heart of the people who help every single patient reach their goals. I think that's what's unique about out culture. That's a major part of the reason that for the past 20 years we've been the Consumer Choice in this region for healthcare. We have a lot of really talented people and great resources, but it's really the heart behind the care that makes us different.Right Quotes
